Come prepared for a smooth notarization
A few simple steps can help your mobile notary appointment go quickly and smoothly.
Bring an acceptable, current form of identification for each person whose signature will be notarized.
Have the full document available, including all pages that belong with it.
Anyone whose signature must be notarized should be available at the appointment.
If your document requires your signature to be witnessed, sworn, or affirmed, wait to sign until the appointment. If you're unsure, leave it unsigned.
The notary cannot choose a notarial act for you or provide legal advice about your document.
